Tom Dixon’s career began as a musician, touring around the USA with his band. Performing in the evenings allowed the designer free time during the day, time which he began to experiment with welding, and so his eponymous label was born. Fast-forward to today, and his brand crafts the Spring ceiling light. Made from stainless steel and brass to resemble ribbons, it’s whisked around a custom-made dimmable LED disc created to adjust to various silhouettes.
