    Dublin brewery Five Lamps made its first porter in 2012 the same year that Glendalough took a mind to making one of the finest beer-finished whiskeys to ever come out of Ireland. After ageing in a virgin American Bourbon oak for six years, the whiskey was finished inside one of Five Lamps’ Blackpitts stout barrels for 12 months. It has rich cocoa flavours, with touches of spice and fruit in there.
