From 1985 up to 1989, King-Kong was the name adopted by architects Stefano Giovannoni and Guido Venturini, creators of an elementary, playful cartoon language. The so-called “standing men” on this Girotondo fruit bowl have appeared on objects from the farthest corners of Alessi tradition, multiplying and invading until they landed in this open-work. Hand gold plated in 24 carat gold, it’s a limited edition piece of only 999 numbered copies.
