Back in January GQ posed the question: “Is the Converse x Kim Jones the most-anticipated collaboration of the year?”. Now that his collection has been revealed, we can safely say “yes”. Playing with textures and fabrics, he reinterprets the shoemaker’s iconic All Star Hi 70 silhouette in a mix of smooth canvas and suede stitched with a clear rubber panel that outlines the lace-up fastenings. Signing off the high-top pair, the designer’s name is stamped at the top of the tongue.
