Overseen by Alberto Antonini, the Montepulciano grapes blended to create this Fantini Farnese Organic Montepulciano d'Abruzzo were sourced from the producer’s vineyards spread out over Ortona, San Salvo and Pollutri in Italy’s Abruzzo region. Grown on a mix of clay and limestone, they’re destemmed before undergoing cold maceration for three days and then a further fermentation process in steel tanks. The result is intense and fruity with notes of smooth vanilla.
