Moncler is an abbreviation of “Monestier-de-Clermont”, a mountain village near Grenoble. That explains why the Bruche jacket was made with skiing in the French Alps (and many a mountainous region) in mind. Structured from padded shell – in the same way that the brand made sleeping bags back in the day – it’s puffed up with that ultra-soft combo of feathers and down to provide maximum insulation from blizzards, snowstorms, and everything in the middle.
