For
Olubiyi Thomas’s ‘’Autonomy’’ collection, the British designer teams up with photographer Holly Vaughan to deconstruct questions around gender, diversity and sustainability. Take a look at this blazer as an example. After working with local artists weavers, the label creates four new textiles that blend traditional British tailoring with African history, then uses hand-embroidery to create the three-dimensional design. Spun from linen and cloaked in a graphic pattern, it signs off with raw hems.
