Stunning designs at our Wine Shop

Here at Selfridges, we love art and we love the occasional tipple – so you can imagine our excitement when we discovered our Wine Shop is combining the two this month. Yes, you can now mix up a tasty non-alcoholic Seedlip cocktail, poured from our very own (and very yellow) limited-edition bottle (which you’ll want to keep and display long after it’s empty). Or, if you’re in the mood for something a bit stronger, take a look at our exciting collaboration with Patrón Tequila. Mexican artist Lourdes Villagómez has hand-painted a limited-edition series of Patrón Silver bottles exclusively for us. For a contemporary celebration of Día de Muertos, you can swing by our windows on Oxford Street to see a stunning display by the artist, before heading down to the Wine Shop on LG to grab your own bottle of Patrón. ¡Ay, caramba!

Satisfy your sweet tooth with FAO Schweetz

As you’ve probably heard, the world’s most iconic toy shop, FAO Schwarz, has landed in our Selfridges London store on 4. Within this amazing 20,000sqft space, you’ll be able to take part in magical experiences, from piano dance lessons where you can recreate the famous scene from the film ‘Big’, to indulging in some larger-than-life FAO Schweetz – giant gummy bears and a train-shaped pick ’n’ mix destination await little (and big) sweet tooths alike. See you there!

Cosy up on the roof with Johnnie Walker

Wrap up warm and head to the rooftop at Alto by San Carlo, Selfridges London, to discover our brand-new (and first-ever) winter terrace takeover. From 5 November to 26 January 2020, we’ll be celebrating our exclusive launch of the limited-edition Johnnie Walker Blue Label Timorous Beasties whisky with our very own ‘Bothy’ (to you and me: a shelter found in remote mountainous areas in Scotland). This mountain retreat set-up will offer ‘explorers’ (aka our fabulous customers) refuge from the cold outside – plus breathtaking views of London. Expect heated huts with exclusive drinks and food pairings to boot. You can get your very own bottle of Timorous Beasties (illustrated by a Glaswegian studio by the same name) in our Wine Shop on LG.

Discover our favourite tipples this month

Whether it's sipping a warming glass of 10-year-old Armagnac or celebrating a special occasion with a glass of rosé Champagne – we have selected our favourite tipples to be enjoyed this month.

Baron de Sigognac
Ten-year-old Armagnac

Delivering a rounded flavour with notes of vanilla, cinnamon, candied orange, dried fruits, toffee and spice – this French brandy strikes the perfect balance of poise and power.

Laurent Perrier
Cuvée Rosé Brut Champagne

With a unique aroma of freshly picked berries and exceptional freshness, this bubbly captures the authentic taste of France.

Theodore
Pictish Gin

Aromatic notes of citric pomelo, damask rose and pink pepper are mixed with spicier notes of ginger, cardamom and kaffir lime, before being blended with Oolong tea. We'd serve this beauty with a stick of lavender and a handful of juniper berries.
