From Central Saint Martins to a famous Haute Couture Atelier, Huishan Zhang’s collections are unsurprisingly elaborate, intricate and artisan in design. The latest silhouette to emerge from the London-based designer is the Vita dress – and of course, it lives up to his reputation. Woven in a classic tweed, accented with metallic threads, the midi is shaped to a flared, A-line silhouette with long sleeves rooted in padded shoulders. With a name that translates to no less than “life” in Italian, the expectations may have been high, but it’s safe to say they were met.
