The Great Frog

A rock'n'roll sensibility underpins our collection of The Great Frog jewellery. In fact, since the British label arrived on the scene in 1972 – when founders Carol Lehtonen and Paterson Riley opened the brand's first shop in London's Carnaby Street – it's been a favourite with renowned bands and musicians. Currently spearheaded by the founders' son, Reino Lehtonen-Riley, the brand remains rooted in counterculture with emblematic designs that symbolise ideas such as freedom, strength and power appearing throughout the range.

Explore a treasure trove of rebellious designs in our selection of The Great Frog's sterling silver and yellow-gold jewellery. Many styles are intricately etched to evoke their inspirations, whether the source is nature or the arts. Think sculpted skulls, flowers and winged motifs. If you like vintage jewellery, opt for chunky silver rings with oxidised finishes for that love-worn look. Prefer gleaming pieces? A polished band or chain provides that prerequisite shine. Make a statement by wearing one solo or style several across the fingers for a maximalist look. You can also expect to find designs adorned with cabochon gemstones, such as turquoise and opal, that provide a pop of colour. From necklaces and earrings to bracelets, each item is handmade in the label's east London studio.
