Demna Gvasalia is renowned for his progressive, maverick designs, but once in a while, he looks back and pays homage to Balenciaga’s history, as shown by the Hourglass wallet-on-chain. Emulating the exaggerated shape of Cristóbal Balenciaga’s iconic blazer, it’s rendered from a glitter-swatched fabric to a curvaceous silhouette suspended from a detachable chain strap. And just in case those clues weren’t enough, the metal ‘B’ embellishment makes the bag’s identity unmistakable.
