Native to Asia and Australia and the official tree of Bangkok, the Weeping Fig is your ideal houseplant. With a severe dislike of being moved, it’s whisked through your door by Moyses Stevens, requires constant moisture (but don’t allow it to sit in water) and lkes to live in a bright room with plenty of indirect light – ok, sometimes it may enjoy a little direct sun in the mornings. Just make sure your watering schedule is consistent.

• Keep the plant steadily moist, but do not allow it to sit in water or it will drop leaves and may develop root rot.


• In their native environment, plants typically drop leaves at the beginning of the dry season, which makes them acutely sensitive to changes in moisture.
