Situated on Bordeaux’s Left Bank, you’ll find the Medoc region – home to
Château Kirwan and the vines the grapes for its powerful
Margaux grow on. After harvesting, they’re fermented with exogenous yeasts in small, stainless-steel vats, after which the wine is aged in French oak barrels for 18 to 22 months. Vibrant and full-bodied, the result is deep red in colour and marries dark berry aromas with subtle notes of oak and tobacco, the overriding impression being that of purity and structure.
