Logo-embossed backless woven heeled sandals

Spearheading a movement away from the traditional, Georgian fashion designer Demna Gvasalia was relatively underground before heading up Balenciaga. As Creative Director of the Spanish house, he’s co-opted the norm and turned it on its head, as you can see from these woven sandals. Set on a sculptural block heel, they’re modelled on classic backless mules – except this time with a sharp, square toe and logo print. Demna, we applaud you.
