Aaron Darke’s fascination for nature brought about Manchester brand Zymurgorium, where the fresh ingredients (that he often forages for himself) blend with fine alcohol. The dark and mysterious – hence the ‘forced darkeside’ name – tartness of rhubarb characterises this gin liqueur, coupled with fresh and fruity cranberry. Cut through the hedgerow flavours with a spiced mixer – we’re thinking ginger ale – and serve over ice.
