In case the pedal pushers and low-rise waistbands didn’t quite give it away, Alexander Wang’s SS24 collection was very much informed by the NYC-based designer’s favourite era – think somewhere between the late 90s and early noughties. Reimagining the aesthetic to cater to his modern clientele, the line-up brings us the ultimate cool-girl uniform with pieces like this mini dress. Crafted from a semi-sheer crochet knit, it’s then stitched with contrasting leather panels that provide coverage at the bust.
