Peter Lauer Fass 2016 riesling 750ml

There are a few things that set Peter Lauer apart from other German vineyards. Run by the founder’s grandson Florian, the estate uses a long, cool fermentation process, and the wines are filtered, but not fined. A proudly vegan result, this Fass riesling is a dry white that’s bursting with fruity aromas of apples, citrus and stone fruit on the nose, with plenty of minerality in between. If we were putting on a dinner, we’d pair it with pork or poultry.
