Central Saint Martins graduate Huishan Zhang aims to re-imagine classic attire for the modern woman’s wardrobe. Fusing traditional silhouettes with couture characteristics, the designer imagines the Amaka dress as part of his AW22 collection. Stitched together from light, flowing fabric, the midi begins with cap sleeves, delicately overlaid with draping, and continues into a neatly darted bodice that bursts out to a pleated, A-line skirt.
