Nestled in the heart of Jamaica, the Appleton Estate is dedicated to distilling authentic rum using the Nassau Valley's unique, lush and fertile terrain. This vintage, however, is a remarkably rare recreation of the 17-year-old rum crafted by J. Wray & Nephew in the 1940s – the reason it's been dubbed Legend – which made the original Mai Tai in San Fransico's Trailer Vic'. Impressive? Right? Serve yours alone, or perhaps recreate your own version of the classic cocktail.
