Amarone is a style of wine from the Veneto region in northern Italy. The three red grape varieties - Rondinella, Molinara and Corvina - yield an intense concentrated juice when pressed.  At La Giaretta, the wine is aged for 2 years in oak barrels, followed by one year in bottle before releasing them, creating deep red colour with hints of wild berry and soft spices on the nose and palate.
