A song title from her Sweetener album, REM is the phase of sleep in which you are the most creative and where your most vivid dreams occur. r.e.m. beauty, Ariana says, is all about bringing your beauty dreams to life. Her initial references included vintage make-up ads from the 50s and 60s, space warriors (she’s a fan of the film Barbarella) and dreamy, mist-covered landscapes.
