Forge de Laguiole has a history stretching back to 1829 when it was set up by Monsieur Glaize in, would you guess it, Laguiole. Continuously innovating, the French manufacturer was on a quest to create a version of its iconic knives that were dishwasher safe and this set is the result. Crafted from compressed cotton and resin, the handles are decorated with swirling fronds and hold the sleek, thin stainless steel blade in place. Partner it with the matching fork when you’re laying the table for dinner.
