New York designer
Jonathan Simkhai might be known for daring cut-outs and a dialogue between retro and futuristic influences – but for 2022, he’s throwing things back to the sun-soaked 70s. Case in point: the
Bea dress. Spun from floaty stretch-cotton, it’s cut to a thigh-skimming mini length with pleated panels and a tiered, flared skirt that evokes images of walking through a field barefoot with wildflowers in your hair. It’s topped with a halterneck fastening that lets balmy breezes blow over your shoulders.
