Leave it up to Hiroshi Fujiwara to subvert the meaning of a supermarket. What do we mean? Well, the designer’s latest retail project,
THE CONVENI, is a curious exploration of convenience store products through the Japanese aesthetic. Expect less fruit and veg and more T-shirt, wallets and socks, this pair included. Crafted from a breathable cotton blend, they’re knitted with a logo and packaged in a milk style container mimicking what you’d find in the supermarket. Cool, eh?
