Crawling from the remnants of the punk rock movement and characterised by its heavy, downcast style, grunge originated in Seattle during the mid-1980s, and its rise was charted in a series of photos by Charles Peterson. The Soloist harnesses two iconic images from the scene in this cotton bandana, which is bordered by the photographer’s name two hits — ‘Touch Me I’m Sick’ by Mudhoney, and Soundgarden’s ‘Screaming Life’.
