Over the past several seasons, there’s been an outbreak of chunky sports shoes disguised as mutated creatures of sorts. These
Fusion trainers from
Maison Margiela are a case in point, with their distressed finish that’s formed of dripping glue, duct-tape panels and haphazard stitchwork. Shaped with a round toe and stacked on a turbo heel, the mutant design is as well suited to streetwear drops as it is to a post-apocalypse scene (they’re zombie certified FYI).
