Royal Copenhagen has been hand-painting each of its porcelain pieces since 1775 when the label was founded by then-Queen of Denmark, Juliane Marie. In fact, you’ll still find the mark of each master painter at the base of its designs, including this plate. From the Blue Fluted Half Lace collection, which was dreamt up over 130 years ago, it offers a subtler take on the debut Full Lace line with its delicate lace pattern painted rather than pierced at the border.
