Tom Dixon’s Underground scented candle evokes, well, the underground. Not the avant-garde, oh-you-wouldn’t-have-heard-of-them underground, but the literal beneath-the-ground underground. On the top, there’s lemon, which moves into a heart of Haitian cardamom and a base of ginger. Admittedly, those are all aboveground ingredients, but they conspire to make a wonderful below-the-surface effect.
