This winter, visit Jackson Boxer at The Corner, where the London chef and restaurateur is serving up an experimental menu of seasonal dishes on Serax La Mère tableware by Marie Michielssen. Nestled away in Women’s Designer Galleries on 2, the light and elegant dining spot with views over the West End is the perfect retreat. Menu highlights include the smoked butter tagliolini served with Comte and chives, and the Fried Chicken Sandwich comprising breadcrumbed chicken, date and tamarind mustard, and a crispy-chicken-flavoured tartare sauce, served between toasted brioche slices. Vegan options include the delicious Fried Cauliflower with macadamia and green apple and Delica Squash with cavolo nero and turmeric root.

Jackson Boxer is the mastermind behind two of the capital’s most popular restaurants. There’s his retro take on English classics at Brunswick House in Vauxhall, which he opened in 2011, followed by Notting Hill’s Orasay in 2019, which serves some of the best seafood in town. Then, in 2021, came Below Stone Nest, co-owned with his brother Frank (of Frank’s Cafe fame), which plates up British food with a strong seasonal leaning.
