The story of Gérard Bertrand dates all the way back to 1740 when one of the sons of the lordship of Montclar bought La Soujeole and paved the way for nine generations of owners. The most recent of them – and where this bottle gets its name – has since converted the estate into a biodynamic farm to sustainably work the terroir. The result is this Grand Vin Red, swirling with concentrated notes of blackcurrant, chocolate and mocha.
