More than just a cult hit, the 1982 film Liquid Sky was seen as a major influence behind the electroclash club scene that emerged in the early 2000s, and also inspired The Prowler sunglasses from Le Specs’ collaboration with designer Adam Selman. Cut to sharp cat-eye frames in glossy acetate, they’re fitted with gradient lenses, while the detailing at each temple looks to be based on the jagged neon shapes of the New Wave music movement.
