Although the first
LCW (Lounge Chair Wood) was designed in 1940, it took until 1945 for brothers Charles and Ray Eames to develop a way of producing it on a commercial scale, and now
Vitra has its own smaller version for the
Miniatures Collection. Made from laminated natural wood, it sits a little lower than its Dining Room counterpart and is divided into sections, with the seat, back and legs connected by a central spine.
