A true artisan, he freehand sketches each design, whittles down the lasts and cuts the patterns of each prototype himself – as he has done for almost 50 years. As iconic as the man himself, the Hangisi ballet flats are cast in lustrous leather and topped with a handmade Swarovski crystal-encrusted buckle.
