Labelled as one of the initiators of the revolution in architecture and design, Italian creator Ettore Sottsass designed the ES16 jar for homeware brand Alessi. Steering away from the functionalism of the years prior to the Second World War, the Maestro used his love for colour and sharp lines to purposefully contrast with intellectualism and rigidity. Made from polished beechwood with a contrasting circular base, this table accessory is perfect for after-dinner sweet treats.
