The jewel in the
Louis Roederer crown,
Cristal was first created in 1876 for Tsar Alexander II, after all. A remarkably balanced blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes, this 2008 bottle has a crystalline purity to it. With white fruit and citrus notes, this sparkling wine has a silky texture and powerful mineral quality. Although it keeps well and can be conserved over twenty years, we don’t think you’ll be able to resist opening it.
