Hortensia Eden steel and diamond watch

Arguably best known for her passionate romance with Napoleon, Chaumet’s famous muse, Empress Joséphine, also led a life as a keen botanist in the gardens and potting sheds of the Chateau de Malmaison, near Paris – and it’s this passion that inspired the French jeweller’s Hortensia collection. Set on a malleable Milanese mesh bracelet, the diamond-studded bezel of this Eden watch is strewn with similarly sparkling petals, made to mimic a “fresh and feminine garden” at either side of its brushed, lacquered dial.
