That’s where this Austin Reid suit comes in. First created in 1980, it’s whipped up from pure wool and complete with a single-breasted jacket and a pair of wide-leg trousers that sit high on the hips. Now all you need is a pair of Derby shoes and you’re all set.

• Notch lapels, single-breasted, buttonhole at lapel, structured shoulders, long sleeves, three non-functioning buttons at cuffs, pearlescent buttons, welt pocket at chest, darts at front, two flap pockets at front, all-over woven stripe pattern, interior jet pockets, double vent at back, fully lined, curved hem

• High-rise, wide leg, belt loops, two slip pockets at front, pressed creases at front, darts at back, all-over striped pattern, two buttoned jet pockets at back
