Looking for inspirational gift advice? It’s just a call away. Book your video call with our gift-giving gurus the Elfridges and the team will help you shop sure-to-please presents (and celebration essentials) from our stores. We’re also on hand with styling and beauty advice, and you can even get exclusive access to shop store-only luxury boutiques.


To help make your shopping experience safe and seamless, we’re introducing a special Click & Collect service at our stores, offering socially distanced deliveries to your car or walk-up collections. Order online by 10pm for collection the next day. The Foodhall at Selfridges London remains open, offering everyday items, a pharmacy service and takeaway options from our Brass Rail restaurant. Our new Hampers & Food Concierge is also here to help with ordering festive hampers and menu inspiration (in store, via virtual appointment or on the phone). The London Foodhall is open Monday to Saturday 10am–9pm and on Sundays 11.30am–6pm. At this time, our Foodhalls in Manchester and Birmingham are temporarily closed until 3 December.

Returning your items: 

We’re extending our returns period from now to give plenty of time for you to return gifts that aren’t quite right. Any purchases made from now can be returned to us by our courier service by 8 January 2021. For anything purchased after 11 December, our normal 28 day returns policy applies.

Shopping in store: your health & wellbeing

We are continuing to adapt our store experiences in line with government guidelines to help create a safe and seamless shopping environment during these times. As ever, our in-store hosts are here to answer any questions and guide you, and you can also use the Selfridges App to access store maps when planning your visit. Please note that the wearing of a face covering is compulsory and current guidelines state that only one household can shop together. Our in-store services

Planning a visit to our store? Why not book an appointment with one of our gifting, styling, opticians, selected beauty or hair services. You will have access to the store via our exclusive fast-track entrances, with appointments available one hour before we open to one hour after we close. Our team members will share their inspiring advice at a distance, in line with social distancing measures.

Our restaurants

Our restaurants, cafes and bars, including the Brasserie of Light in London and our Italian-inspired San Carlo restaurants, are open for business. Please note that due to current government guidelines, bookings can only be made for the same household or support bubble.

The Cinema at Selfridges London

Catch up on the latest new releases in the comfort of our plush cinema, complete with a luxurious bar and snug area – perfect for a pre-film cocktail (or two). With enhanced measures in place, you can rest assured your health and wellbeing are being taken care of while you sit back and enjoy the film.

Store FAQs: your questions, answered

  • Our Click & Collect service is available at all four of our stores, with the option of drive-up collection also available – see more details here. Our website and app are both fully operational, shipping throughout the UK and internationally to over 130 countries. 


  • Click & Collect can be selected during checkout. You will receive a confirmation email when your order is ready to collect, and your collection can be booked online via our queue waiting system. All our stores offer walk-up or drive-up collection options.

  • Online returns are being processed as usual and we have extended our returns policy to the 8 January. Unfortunately, you will be unable to return your order at our Click & Collect desks, however we would be happy to arrange a collection direct from your address – for more details please see here. If you purchased your item in store, please contact the Customer Service team to discuss your return options. All other aspects of our Returns & Refunds policy remain the same. 

  • Unfortunately, we have had to cancel all in-person appointments, and you should be contacted by our team in store to notify you of this. However, we continue to offer our virtual services to get you ready for the festive season. We look forward to welcoming you back as soon as our stores re-open.

  • We have a range of delivery and collection options to make purchasing from our Foodhall as easy as possible for our customers. Please contact our Hampers & Food Concierge team on 020 7318 3458 or email [email protected]

  • There is a limit of 12 units of any individual item purchased during your visit to our Foodhall, however there is no limit to the total number of items purchased in one transaction.

  • The health, safety and wellbeing of customers and team members is our priority, and measures have been taken to help minimise the risk of coronavirus, in line with guidance from Public Health England and the relevant authorities. These include:


    • We ask customers to follow current government guidelines on gatherings indoors or outside to be kept to one household or support bubble

    • 1 customer per 16m2 of retail space

    • A one-way system to enter and exit our stores

    • Face coverings worn by all team members working in our stores 

    • Teams and customers will always be asked to follow social distancing guidelines of 2 metres distance from the next individual 

    • All back of house and office areas will also follow social distancing guidelines of 2 metres

    • Where social distancing cannot be maintained, we will install physical barriers to protect our customers and teams, with perspex screens installed at till points and counters wherever appropriate

    • Floor markings and signage installed across all stores and locations to support social distancing of 2 metres, including queues system to enter Selfridges stores

  • The Brass Rail, Caviar House and Tonkotsu, which are located in our Foodhall, will offer takeaway food and drinks. All our other restaurants are temporarily closed, in line with Government guidance.  

  • The health, safety and wellbeing of our customers and team members is our utmost priority. We will continue to monitor advice from the Government and Public Health England and will reopen when it is confirmed we are able to do so.
