In 1984, when a Colorado River guide strapped two watch straps to his flip flops to create shoes that wouldn’t float away, Teva was born. Thankfully, the brand has moved onto more sophisticated production methods since then to produce the likes of the Original Universal Sliom sandals. They’re shaped to the iconic utilitarian silhouette that’s suited to every kind of activity. The best bit? They’re crafted entirely from recycled plastic, saving four bottles from landfill per pair.
