The first iteration of
Vans’s
Old Skool trainers came in 1977, debuting the now iconic side stripe – one that started as nothing more than a doodle. Launched when the label had already begun garnering status within the skateboarding scene, this style was the brand’s first official ‘skate shoe’. This Anaheim Factory version makes a few switch-ups, with textured suede panels, a striped midsole and contrasting laces.
