adidas has plucked yet another footwear classic from its legendary archives. Born on the podiums of the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich, the SL72 is revitalised and ready to take the streetwear world by storm. Staying faithful to the silhouette of the iconic original, this rendition is crafted from vibrant panels of leather, suede, and breathable nylon stacked on a rubber outsole. And, of course, it signs off with the ubiquitous trefoil at the side, just as the first iteration did half a century ago.
