To inspire his latest collection, JW Anderson twirls into the radical theatre of Scottish choreographer Michael Clark, a hedonistic stage where the poetry of ballet is entwined with the anarchic spirit of punk. Recalling the dancer’s subversive performances of the early 1980s, the designer crafts these ballet flats from smooth leather, cinched with gathered trim. Then, they’re crowned with the label’s geometric, metal emblem that scintillates in flickers of gold as you perfect your pirouettes.
