  • From time to time, Guerlain felt the need to offer its clients fresh perfumes and tonic eaux that can be worn at any hour of the day. Eau de Cologne Impériale and Eau de Cologne du Coq are just such fragrances, and in 1920, this Eau de Fleurs de Cédrat, created by Jacques Guerlain, took up the traditional family formula. This citrus eau with lemony accents evokes all the magic of Mediterranean countries. On the occasion of this Imperial commission, Pierre–François–Pascal Guerlain established a partnership with the prestigious glassmaker Pochet du Courval. Together, they created the bottle bearing aconstellation of 69 bees, which became emblematic as a symbol of the Empire. Today, it is the emblem of the Guerlain family of Eaux.
