Big Yellow Welcome

We know it can be really exciting when you start a new job, but there can also be a lot to take in, so that’s why we created the Big Yellow Welcome to help you get to know us better and become part of the Selfridges community. Here you’ll learn about everything you need for your first few days and beyond, including background on our heritage, strategy, vision and values, as well as our commitments to sustainability. For new managers, we will also spend a further two days exploring different areas of the business and how you will work with them in the future, plus our leadership behaviours which will give you an overview of what leadership means at Selfridges.

What’s more, we are introducing a brand-new retail training team who are working alongside our retail managers to roll out an exciting 12-week induction programme, with self-learning modules tailored to individual teams. This is then followed up by observation, feedback and coaching on the job from your dedicated trainer, helping you begin an amazing career journey at Selfridges.

While finding your feet, we will also provide any support and guidance you might need, helping you really feel a part of Team Selfridges.

Within our offering we have everything from courses on presentation skills to developing your creative thinking. We’ll support you to grow as a manager and inspire others as a leader.
