Chateau Branaire-Ducru was first promoted to the status of fourth growth when Emperor Napoleon first introduced the Bordeaux Wine Official Classification in 1855, and it has continued to release vintages of reliably exceptional quality ever since. Located in the Saint-Julien appellation, it’s home to hand-harvested Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot vines. The 2010 vintage releases the remarkably ripe aromas of mulberry, raspberry and blackcurrant alongside graphite and florals.
