Alessandro Michele looked all the way back to styles of the 18th and 19th centuries when designing these
Gucci loafers; you can see the historical influence in the raised, stacked heel and pointed toe. Of course the label’s famously over-the-top Creative Director find a way to bring them up to date, though, trimming the front with a gold-toned chain horsebit, and, well, why not.
