What’s the story behind
Niwaki? Well, translating from Japanese to mean garden trees, the brand came about when founder Jake Hobson visited Japan to investigate the cultural phenomenon of the cherry blossom season, hanami, and discovered the artistry of Japanese landscapes. Take this hand hoe, as an example. Designed to digging, weeding and planting, the garden tool helps to prepare seed beds and prise out the likes of roots, clumps and rocks.
