Ingrid belted stretch-woven midi dress

For Resort ’20, Emilia Wickstead​​​ was inspired by the vintage and travel lifestyle magazine, Holiday. It is, therefore, no surprise to see the designer’s Ingrid dress reimagined for her latest collection – we first saw it on the runway back in 2018, you know. Cut to a retro 50s silhouette with a fitted bodice, belted waist and flared pleated skirt, it ticks all the boxes for a classic fit-and-flare shape. The metallic shimmer that covers it calls to be matched with equally sparkly heels and jewels – the sparklier, the better.
