The brothers behind
Schott may have started out in the basement of a building in Manhattan’s Lower East Side, but fast-forward more than a century and the eponymous label they created is still specialising in hardy, practical coats – but this time on a global scale. The brand uses shell to create this extra-long coat, padding it and stuffing it full of insulating down. Up top there’s a protective hood that can be cinched by a set of drawstrings at the collar, making sure the rain is kept at bay.
