1. BEFORE FIRST USEPut the Audio Earrings in the charging case, close the lid and charge them through a USB-C cable or wireless charging.
Important safety informationThe NOVA H1 Audio Earrings and their charging case are to be handled with care since the audio device contains sensitive electronic components that can be damaged, impair functionality, or cause injury if dropped, burnt, punctured, crushed, disassembled, or if exposed to excessive heat or liquid, or to environments having high concentrations of industrial chemicals. Do not use the NOVA H1 Audio Earrings if they or the charging case are damaged. Do not use the NOVA H1 Audio Earrings in contact with water as they are not waterproof.
Enviromental conditions
- Storage temperature is -20°C – 60°C.
- Operating temperature is 0°C - 45°C.
- Charging temperature is 15°C - 45°C.
Batteries
The NOVA H1 Audio Earrings have replaceable batteries. Nevertheless, do not attempt to replace them yourself – this could cause damage on the product and injury. If a battery replacement is desired and/or needed, contact NOVA Products GmbH to send the Audio Earrings back to the company.
Charging
Charge the charging case with a USB-C cable and a power adapter or computer or by placing the charging case on a wireless charger. Only charge with an adapter that is compliant with applicable country regulations and international and regional safety standards, including the International Standard for Safety of Information Technology Equipment (IEC 60950-1). Other adapters may not meet the required safety standards and charging with such adapters could pose a risk of death or injury. Using damaged cables or chargers, or charging when moisture is present, can cause fire, electric shock, injury, or damage to the charging case or other property. When using a wireless charger, avoid placing metallic foreign objects on the charger, as they may become warm or interfere with charging.
Skin irritation and allergy
Beware the materials used to coat the Audio Earrings are gold and silver. If you have an existing allergic reaction to these materials, do not use.In the same manner, discontinue using the H1 Audio Earrings if you experience skin irritation or skin allergy after wearing them. To avoid hurting your ears, do not apply excessive pressure to the touchpad (button). Avoid pressing the touchpad with anything besides your fingertips to preventt damage.
Hearing precautions
To prevent possible hearing damage,do not listen to sound at high volume for long periods.
Medical device interference
The NOVA H1 Audio Earrings contain components and radios that emit electromagnetic fields. The Audio Earrings charging case also contains magnets. These electromagnetic fields and magnets may interfere with pacemakers, defibrillators, or other medical devices. Maintain a safe distance of separation between your medical device and NOVA H1 Audio Earrings and charging case.
Electrostatic discharge
In dry environments static electricity can build up. Due to this static electricity, it is possible that you receive a short and small electrostatic discharge from the Audio Earrings. To avoid electrostatic discharge, touch a grounded metal object before handling the Audio Earrings in dry environments.
RF Conformity
The frequency band of the Audio Earrings is between 2.400 and 2.483 GHz and the emitted power is 2.5 mW.
